TrinityWest Kid's Church!

The Disciple Ship Kids' Ministry exists to assist the parents in training up their children ages 6-12. We have a two-fold Sunday approach to discipleship. First, we meet on the first and third Sundays of each month for a Celebration Service. Second, we meet on the opposite Sundays for systematic bible study in age appropriate small groups.

We are here to serve the families of Trinity West and to support their efforts in building a solid foundation of faith in their children. All our events including missions trips, puppet team, praise team, summer evangelism events, Christmas and Easter plays, and more, are geared to build a child's faith and let their spiritual gifts develop.

A well-oiled Children's Ministry takes an army of staff to function at its best.

Each Sunday we utilize:

Celebration Service: 2-3 adults, plus teen helpers.
Systematic Bible Study: 6-8 adults, plus teen helpers.

Requirements to serve:

. We ask that each person helping is a Christian and is walking in a lifestyle that is in accordance with God's Word.

. For a parent's peace of mind, we require that each person working with children pass a back-ground check. An old legal issue may not be a problem, please see Pastor Cathy for more information.
. We ask that each person serving will have attended Trinity West for at least 3 months.
. We ask that each of our teachers have completed Discovery 4.
